Research - Director (Production Role)

The director is someone who oversees and directs a production, they have to control the film's artistic and dramatic elements while directing the actors and film crew, usually under the film producer. 


The director develops a vision for the film and make it come to life. They are also responsible for the decision of the camera angles, lens effects and lighting. They often have to take part in the hiring of crew members. Writing, financing, editing and scheduling are also parts of film making that a director may be involved in.  Directors are also responsible for motivating the crew so that the best possible outcome can happen.
