Main Task - Post Production - Diary Entry

Yesterday we showed our first edits of our production to the class, our feedback was that our costumes and lighting were good but we needed to edit a bit more as it was only roughly done. After watching this we spoke to Mr Sheppard and have now decided to change around all of our shots so that it looks a lot better.

Main Task - Post Production - Diary Entry

Today, we put the footage of our production onto the computer and after watching the clips back, we realised that a few of the shots didn't have any sound. We discussed what we thought we should do and decided to record voice clips and join them to the video. After this I started editing, I just cut the extra bits of the shot that weren't needed and deleted some of the audio that would need a voice over added to it. I them turned it into black and white and asked Charley to check what I had done and she told me her opinion on what had been done so far. I am happy with the way that post production is going so far.

Claus
A 26 year old assassin who is very dominant over certain characters and also very sly and cunning. He is employed by a rich, powerful man who is also Henry White's brother. He is always smartly dressed and does not think of anyone but himself. It would seem that he loves Rosalie, but actually he does not care about her.

Rosalie
A 22 year old woman, she is very glamorous and seductive. Her husband was murdered a few years before she met Claus. She is only interested in Claus for his money although she knows that he is a villain and secretly helps Carlisle out with the case against him.

Henry White
He is a 23 year old famous jazz singer, he is very wealthy because of this and always dresses formally. He has a rich brother who is obsessed with money and hires an assassin to kill him. Henry has always known of his brother's jealously and does not trust anyone around him because of this.

Carlisle
He is 25 years old and a detective. He is very stubborn and always wants to solve the case but when he does this he is very sly and good at being hidden. He is of a middle class background and uses most of the money he gets to go towards resources for his job. He has a past with Rosalie, he worked on the case of the murder of Rosalie's husband and has been secretly in love with her ever since.

Esme
She is a 28 year old maid who is employed by Henry White. She is kind and always worries about other people rather than herself. She has a working class background and always wears her uniform which consists of a simple black dress, with her white apron and black tights and black shoes.

Main Task - Production - Diary Entry

Today, Charley and I filmed our Film Noir production. I am pleased at how it turned out and all of the shots that we used, although we had to change a couple because it would fit better with the scene. We only had a few problems such as; finding actors and having to change the location of our film not long before we were due to film. I think that we worked very well as a team and we both made sure that each of us was okay with anything we were going to do.
