Preliminary Task - Posters
Below are two posters for 'The Lie', we decided to keep these quite simple so that they would not give much away to the audience, leaving the film a mystery. We had to use screenshots of the film because we forgot to take pictures whilst filming and didn't realise until we came round to editing the film and making the poster:
Preliminary Task - Filming
I think that at first, the filming process went quite well, we were doing the shots quite quickly. The only problems we had were:
- people wanting to walk through the corridor while we were filming
- people in the next room being too noisy
- the actors forgetting their lines, which meant we had to film what was supposed to be one shot as two shots
- towards the end we realised we were running out of time but we still had quite a lot of shots to do
- the corridor was quite small which meant that sometimes it would be difficult for all of the crew to fit behind the camera which meant sometimes someone would have to wait outside
Once we had finished and started to edit we realised that we had forgotten to film one of the shots that we needed, we then had to film this shot as 'The Lie' would not look right without it.
Although at first, we agreed to share all roles as we had 2 cameras, Alex was the camera man and I was the director. This helped us film things quicker because I could just tell him exactly where he needed to be at different times.

I did all of the storyboard myself but when I needed help with how to draw a shot, Alex would help me.
